BAKED POTATOES WITH MUSHROOMS

Tender on the inside, a little crispy on the outside and garlic flavored these baked potatoes with mushrooms are one of my favorites. They are also very easy to make. All you have to do is to place all the ingredients into a tray and then place the tray into the preheated oven.
You can serve these delicious baked potatoes as a side dish or as a main dish, with a salad.


Ingredients for baked potatoes with mushrooms:


- 2kg potatoes
- 1kg fresh button mushrooms
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
- salt to taste


How to make baked potatoes with mushrooms


Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium pieces. Place the potatoes into a large bowl. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon granulated garlic and salt, drizzle 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Mix very well.
Place the potatoes into a non-stick baking tray.
Wash the mushrooms and cut them into large pieces. If the mushrooms are very small it’s not necessary to cut them at all.
Place the mushrooms into a large bowl. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon granulated garlic and salt, drizzle 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Mix very well. Place the mushrooms over the potatoes.
Cover the tray with aluminum foil.
Place the tray into the preheated oven and bake at 190° C for 15-20 minutes.
Remove the aluminum foil, mix the potatoes and mushrooms with a wooden spoon and continue baking at 190° C for another 30-35 minutes.
Serve warm with grilled meat or salad. 
These baked potatoes with mushrooms make the perfect side dish for chicken souvlaki.
